Thanks to a partnership with the City of Boulder employees can enjoy complimentary access to Boulder BCycle’s fully electric bike share system.

Boulder BCycle lets you ride between Downtown Boulder, CU, the Boulder Creek Path, and Chautauqua.

With convenient stations, affordable pricing, and an easy-to-use app, it’s easy to ride when you want and dock when you’re done.

Getting started

1. Download the app

  • Download the BCycle app and create your account.
  • Use your City of Boulder email address.

2.  claim your discount

  • Select an Annual Membership.
  • Turn off auto-renew.
  • Enter promo code CITYRIDES and confirm your total is $0.

3.  Start riding

  • Unlock a bike through the app and ride.
  • Keep trips under 60 minutes to avoid usage fees
  • Wear a helmet and follow the rules of the road.
