CU Students and Employees Ride BCycle for Free

Short trips on Boulder BCycle's all-electric bike share system are available free of cost to students, faculty, and staff at CU Boulder!

Follow the instructions below to register your CU Student and Employee Pass at no cost, keeping every trip under 60 minutes to avoid trip fees:

1. Download the BCycle app.
2. Choose the CU Student and Employee pass and register with your CU Identikey email address.
3. Use the BCycle app to check out e-bikes! Keep every trip under 60 minutes to avoid trip fees.

About your BCycle Pass

1. Your pass includes an unlimited number of 60-minute trips. Return the bike to a BCycle station within 60 minutes to avoid trip fees. See current trip fee rates in the BCycle app.

2. Return your bike to a BCycle station dock: Listen for beeps and watch for push notifications and/or a text (depending on your account settings). Double-check that the bike was returned to the dock correctly if these indicators are not present.

3. Station full? Use the BCycle App to see up-to-the-minute dock availability and find open docks near your destination.
