Boulder B-cycle Staff

Kevin Crouse, Executive Director

A Colorado native and year-round bike commuter, Kevin discovered bike sharing on a trip to Europe and began volunteering with Boulder B-cycle in April 2011, as the system prepared to launch. In addition to acting as Executive Director, Kevin handles Boulder B-cycle's system operations, working in conjunction with our Fleet and Field Technicians to keep our stations working and our riders happy.  He is a musician, enjoys studying languages, and endeavors to care for the health of the living earth.

Kevin Bell, Marketing and Sales Director

Kevin is responsible for connecting Boulder B-cycle with the larger Boulder community. A graduate of the University of Denver and a Colorado native, he joined Boulder B-cycle in April 2013. As a visual artist in his spare time and with a background in political advertising, he brings a passion for creativity and unconventional thinking to the B-cycle team.

Erica Congelli, Member Services Manager

Erica is native New Yorker who found a new home in Boulder in 2000, and has a hard time imagining life without its extensive bike path system. Her favorite workout involves biking to Boulder’s many trailheads and “getting lost” for hours. Most of her work is in Boulder’s bar and restaurant industry, making member services work a natural fit. She is a strong proponent of B-cycle’s mission of clean, green and sustainable transportation.

Todd Root, Fleet Technician

Todd Root is descended from a long, proud line of bike nuts. When he moved to Boulder from Akron, Ohio in 2005, he didn't originally plan on staying... he just never moved back. Since then, he’s ridden 6-8 thousand miles every year. When he’s not working, or teaching bike mechanics at Community Cycles, he's usually out riding. Todd is a huge believer in alternative transportation, and he's glad to see that bike sharing is here to stay.

Bill Chait, Fleet Technician

Bill moved to Boulder in 1981 to work in Boulder County’s storage industry. A life-long cyclist, Bill often commuted from Gunbarrel to Louisville for work and made the occasional ride to Jamestown or Ward, or Breckenridge to Copper. No longer working in the software business, Bill spends much of his spare time running and hiking and is excited to be working outdoors and with bikes. He’s been with Boulder B-cycle since the spring of 2016.

Dakota Beck, Fleet Technician

Dakota has been living in Colorado for most of his life and moved to Boulder in 2012 to study International Affairs at CU. As he endeavors to travel and bring awareness to global poverty and the environment, Dakota cannot help but get caught up in the recreational adventures of cycling, snowboarding, and taking advantage of the 300 days of sun that Boulder has to offer. You'll likely encounter him on the creek path, moving B-cycles downtown or, more likely, just enjoying the scenery.
