Boulder BCycle Staff

Kevin Crouse, General Manager

A Colorado native and year-round bike commuter, Kevin discovered bike sharing on a trip to Europe and began volunteering with Boulder BCycle in April 2011, as the system prepared to launch. In addition to acting as GM, Kevin works in conjunction with our operations manager and our Fleet and Field Technicians to keep our stations working and our riders happy.  He is a musician, enjoys studying languages, and endeavors to care for the health of the living earth.
Sara Michaels

Sara Michaels, Marketing and Business Development Specialist

After graduating from The Ohio State University with a B.A. in Journalism, Sara moved west to pursue her passion of mountain bike racing in The Rocky Mountains. Having worked with clients from Yakima and Salomon to BMW Motorrad and Lexus, she brings a wide spectrum of talents and drive to the Boulder BCycle Marketing position. Sara went on to work with non-profits in the cycling industry; supporting independent bike retailers and establishing bicycle mechanic classrooms in public schools nationwide. She is excited to grow and promote the Bike Share industry.

Brian Ensor, Operations Manager

Brian is a Colorado native who has lived in Boulder since 2014. He primarily uses his bike to get around the city but is also an avid mountain biker. With experience as a Boulder BCycle rider, Brian joined the team in 2019. Aside from making sure that our stations stay well stocked with bikes, he is excited to apply his software development skills to improve the efficiency of daily operations.

Erica Congelli, Member Services Manager

Erica is native New Yorker who found a new home in Boulder in 2000, and has a hard time imagining life without its extensive bike path system. Her favorite workout involves biking to Boulder’s many trailheads and “getting lost” for hours. Most of her work is in Boulder’s bar and restaurant industry, making member services work a natural fit. She is a strong proponent of B-cycle’s mission of clean, green and sustainable transportation.

Bill Chait, Fleet Technician

Bill moved to Boulder in 1981 to work in Boulder County’s storage industry. A life-long cyclist, Bill often commuted from Gunbarrel to Louisville for work and made the occasional ride to Jamestown or Ward, or Breckenridge to Copper. No longer working in the software business, Bill spends much of his spare time running and hiking and is excited to be working outdoors and with bikes. He’s been with Boulder BCycle since the spring of 2016.

...And so many more Field and Fleet Technicians along with a stellar team of Bike Techs!! Come back soon to see them too!
