You are invited to participate in our nationwide B-cycle Earth Day challenge, B-Earthy! Boulder B-cycle has challenged all of our sister cities to compete for the greatest ridership over Earth Day weekend last year. (If, like Boulder B-cycle, they weren't up and running yet, they'll be using a comparable weekend.) Of course, Boulder B-cycle wants to win and show the nation that Boulder earns its title as a top ten biking city in the world! This relies on our riders strutting their stuff on the red bikes!
Use hashtag #BEarthy on Twitter to extend the invitation to your bike sharing friends, and to those who haven’t yet tried the rad red bikes. The top five tweeters between 4/6/12 and 4/20/12 in Boulder win a pair of B-cycle biking socks from our new kit!
As a gift to you and Mother Earth, Boulder B-cycle’s is making day passes free on April 21 and 22. You will still need to register with a credit card, which also acts as your membership card. Because it is a bike share and other people need to use the bikes, we will still keep usage fees intact. Be sure to check back into a station once an hour to keep trips under 60 minutes, and B-Earthy until your heart’s content. Ride on!
