Boulder B-cycle Offers Summer Internships
By Apr 16, 2012 | 12:00AM
Boulder B-cycle is looking for 2-3 interns interested in gaining customer service, event planning, problem-solving, and database experience while helping to operate Boulder’s bike-share system! The internship will require 5-15 hours per week from May-October and may qualify for summer and/or fall semester credit if approved by an academic department.
Enthusiasm for bike-based transportation is a must, as is a love of helping and interacting with people. Because Boulder B-cycle’s users depend on the organization to answer their questions and assist them as they ride, previous experience in customer service is preferred, although not required, and regular and timely attendance is expected.
To apply, please respond to info@boulderbcycle.com with your resumé and a brief letter addressing why you are interested in working with Boulder’s nonprofit bike share system. Please highlight any customer service experience as well as additional experience or skills that you feel would benefit the program.
